Sports Injuries: Help Your Kids Avoid Them

It's always exciting to watch your kids being active, having fun and enjoying themselves in sports activities. With that excitement comes concern for their safety as well.

Below are you'll find ways to help your kids stay fit and injury-free!

Does the Shoe Fit?

Make sure the equipment your child is using matches the sport and fits properly. Improper fit can not only cause discomfort but injuries as well.

Safe Playing Field

Make sure the area your kids will be playing is free from holes or uneven surfaces that may cause your child to trip and/or fall.

Make Safety a Priority

Sports and activities that can be physical should always have adult supervision. Being safe and alert in the environment should be a requirement for anyone supervising the sport and activity. Also, hold your kids accountable for properly stretching, following directions, etc. to remain safe and avoid injury.
