Family Fitness: Endurance, Strength and Flexibility

It's been said that there are three elements of fitness in action that include: endurance, strength and flexibility.

There are numerous ways in day-to-day activity that can incorporate these elements, from taking the stairs to bending down to tie one's shoelaces. Plus there's more purposeful efforts toward working out that can be fun for the whole family. Anything from playing chase for endurance or pushing the merry-go-round or crossing the monkey bars for strength.

Making fitness a family effort will encourage children to stay active and find ways to incorporate all three elements.
